Albert Cramer has been flying gas balloons since 1981.  Albert's company, Warsteiner, is the main sponsor of The German National Ballooning Team and the America's Challenge Gas Balloon Race. In addition, Warsteiner is the official beer sponsor of the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.

Since 1986, the Warsteiner Brewery in Germany has both organized and presented the WARSTEINER INTERNATIONAL MONTGOLFIADE (WIM).
The WARSTEINER INTERNATIONAL MONTGOLFIADE has become the biggest Balloon Fiesta in Europe!  In 2003, 312 ballooning teams participated altogether,
among them 44 special shapes and 12 gas balloons.  These ballooning teams came from 14 nations, some from overseas. 200,000 spectators/visitors enjoyed the event. The 2004 WARSTEINER INTERNATIONAL MONTGOLFIADE will take place from September 3 to 12, 2004.
